The future of Godzilla in Toho

It started at shin Godzilla, with the adaptation abilities and the grotesque design. Then we get Godzilla Earth, which is plant based and can also clone itself. And now we have Singular Point, which Godzilla mutates and evolves just like shin.
I wonder what this means for the future of Godzilla

It means that Toho has no problem coexisting with WB's MonsterVerse since all of those were released during Toho's first deal with Legendary....

I know that's sort-of off-topic but you know what I'm talking about.

Probably, and I wouldn't be surprised if Legendary's Godzilla takes on the role of being a "traditional" Godzilla while Toho adds new ideas and lore to their next Godzilla....

And WB has never been one to shy away from ca$h
except the whole anti-snyder bit...

You actually have a point there. Most Toho gojis have (pre-reiwa) have been an undersea creature that was awoken by nuclear testing. Shin Godzilla was mutated by unregulated nuclear waste dumping, and Legendary was awoken by nuclear testing

I get the feeling they will renew and add more Titans to the deal...

The only reason Toho agreed to the whole mutating/evolving bit in Shin Godzilla was because Bandai saw the opportunity to sell more figures based on each individual form. Beforehand they were completely against it.
It wouldn't shock me if Toho even mandated this in Singular Point, but like Legendary and Polygon, Toho merely gave Orange x Bones the rights along with a few rules to follow. They're not quite as hands on with it.
Honestly, I'm less concerned about creative ideas like that and more interested in the filmmakers and thematic direction Godzilla will be taken.

I think Gojira will be split into two directions, one MonsterVerse and the other Toho.

Toho seems happy to let other companies do the work
