I read thay they're actually on good terms with better understanding of each other and that this movie will focus more on Godzilla this time....idk where you get this from
Add more relativity to the movies, there are a lot of plot holes in the movies itself. This series helps in filling those gaps and more, but only if it's relatable to the movies. Still playing catch-up with the movie timeline coz here they are still in 2017, so there is still lot of scope to explore more. Example the Monarch characters shown in King of Monsters
The ending with Rodan was cool, might help a 3rd season. But the story has to move much more swiftly and without so many flashbacks.
Even if they’re not longer on friendly terms they’d probably just get stopped by Mothra if they kept fighting. Also then again translations on stuff could always make a couple mistakes.
This makes no sense, the previous movies clearly show they where never friends they just fellow enemies to a target. Just look at the last movie, Godzilla was going to kill kong until mothra showed up.

Highly possible! The translation could be loose as well, I'm not versed enough to know how exact the translation works out to be. It does sound a lot like the last movie, though if it is accurate.

Well, I too feel that there is way too much "personal drama". C'mon, this is a Monster show and the focus is on dis functional relationships. Where are the titans. Yawn, I've lost interest and cannot even articulate how disappointed I am.

Too many flash backs and teen drama just getting interesting with more action and monsters!!! Not happy with it ending now! Hope next season has less drama more action and creatures!

I'm all for it. But I'm hoping Toho continues licensing Godzilla as well as Mothra, Rodan and possibly other characters for the Legendary Pictures and their Universe. I love see a crossover between the two if possible.
Just saw this episode. Their (series and movies) focus on the annoying high pitched "roar" is annoying. It sounds so pathetic!
So many possibilities! Toho could do a survival horror film with a group of people landing on an unknown island filled with giant monsters. That could be the introduction to "Monster Island" of sorts. So long as they give other monsters time in the spotlight: Titanosaurus, Gargantuas, Angurius, or something entirely new.

I'm all for these as well. I'd love to see some new solo features for other Toho monsters. Would build up to crossovers even more, imo. By the sounds of it, this is precisely what Toho are planning. With such a rich treasure trove of IPs, why wouldn't they capitalize on them all? Not just Godzilla.
