so, in the midst of the hype for gvk and sp, this...thing got announced by idw to no fanfare AT ALL. godzilla monsters and protectors. nothing really to say about it, because all we have is covers. but im still hyped.

I'll check it out eventually, but like many, I'm not a huge fan of the art style.

I'm more excited about IDW's One Shot, Godzilla Rivals. The first one takes place in the 1970s with a Showa Godzilla design fighting Hedorah--Almost like it's a short based on Yoshimitsu Banno's unmade Godzilla vs. Hedorah 2!

I loved the Godzilla Legends one shots a few years ago, so I'm down for more from IDW. But the fact it looks like a Showa story is a massive selling point. Looking forward to June.
