Lots of people understimate kong, Saying Godzilla can 1 shot him or he can go in his burning form.

To be honest i wouldnt be surprised kong getting the victory in this fight.

I think it will be a draw. Both characters have reasons to be liked. One being beaten or killed would cause a backlash from that character's base fans.
