Could Skull Island become Monster Island?

Monarch found evidence that there are new titans beneath Skull Island and that there's new seismic disturbances reported on Skull Island

Doubt it, they would never actually change the name. But in concept, possibly, though I'm still not so sure.

If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.

As long as Godzilla, Kong, or any of the other Titans destroy the island from fighting (accidentally and/or intentionally), then it's possible that it could be the case.
