Neca 2019 Godzilla figure issue, help?

So I recently got the 2019 Godzilla from my local Target, and while I was fortunate to be spared most of the egregious QC issues others' figures have had, I did not miss them entirely. For whatever reason the dorsal plates on his hips seem to be raised or glued above where they should be. Here are some more pictures to show what I mean:

All in all it really doesn't bother me, but I'm curious if anyone had any ideas how to potentially fix it, if possible. I've watched a lot of reviews and nobody else seems to have had this particular issue(or pointed it out, anyways), so this seemed like a good place to inquire about it. Thanks for taking a look.
