Godzilla KOTM fanfic rewrite

I liked Godzilla KOTM, it was great seeing some classic Toho monsters fight it out using modern special effects. I had a smile on my face during most of the movie and really enjoyed the monster designs (especially the new legendary monsters and Mothra) but I felt that the human side of the story was weaker so I thought I would try to write my own version borrowing aspects from the movie not because I thought it was bad but because I like Godzilla and wanted to start writing. The story will be more like a classic Godzilla story, using some mythical and alien aspects later on, once more is revealed. I’ve done two small chapters at first to see if people like it and so far they have. The chapters don’t have much character development or monster fights (which there is a big one in the next chapter) and I wanted to see what more Godzilla fans think about it especially compared to the story of the movie.
