Cool Godzilla Images/Food for Thought

AdminGodzillaMar-14-2019 11:07 AMSince the former thread sort of just became a thread for comedic memes, I regulated it to that instead. Here, will focus on rarer images and some out of context collages to bring in some relevant discussion. As so:
The late Yoshimitsu Banno (left) [director of Godzilla vs. Hedorah/executive produver of Godzilla '14] & Teruyoshi Nakano (right) [special effects director of Godzilla vs. Hedorah, vs. Gigan, vs. Megalon, vs. MechaGodzilla, Terror of MechaGodzilla & Return of Godzilla]. 1971.
Currently searching for the full thing. It's a much older interview I haven't see in eons.
Top: Plans for the alien city and Mugal (from Terror of MechaGodzilla)
Bottom: MechaGodzilla City and Mulu-elu Galu-gu (from Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle)
The mechagodzilla references are strong with this one.
Zwei Wing is the best singing duo. Change my mind.
The "VolcanoGoji" suit looks like a cross between the 1955 and 1962 suits. I honestly would have been happier if Toho had used that design in King Kong vs. Godzilla.

Godzilla's underwater habitat, pre-nuclear blast. From Tomoyuki Tanaka's book, Definitive Edition Godzilla Introduction, only two survived.
Oh, I saw this in a wikizilla video.

Wow. I did not see that before. Nice catch.
I saw that picture of Goji's underwater habitat before over on Wikizilla.

Wow! I never saw that before! Awesome!
If people weren't lazy, we wouldn't try to be efficient. If we weren't efficient, we'd never get anything done.
Imagine all of those heads on a single Ghidorah... yeesh...

I've seen that Ghidorah pic before.

The KingGoji (1962) suit in Mothra vs. Godzilla.
One of the best innovations in Invasion of Astro Monster is the larger scale Godzilla foot and tail used for close-ups of detailed buildings being trampled on.
This allowed for a higher level of detail in the miniatures that showed more debris and objects inside the buildings spilling out.
This technique would be revisited to lesser effect in 1984, but done more competently in GMK.
Godzilla suit actor Mizuho Yoshida and King Ghidorah actor Akira Ohashi replay their battle from Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.
Gamera 3 art from the DNA of Tokusatsu Exhibit in Tokyo.
A group of people and Megaguirus celebrate Godzilla's birthday (It's both funny and interesting)
