What I noticed when I looked closely at Rodan's cave painting.

So when you look closely at this cave painting, it looks like Rodan is attacking some type of Neolithic/Paleolithic tribe. You could see some warriors are fruitlessly trying to fight Rodan with a bow and arrow. It also appears that Rodan is using his breath weapon against those unfortunate warriors. Hopefully, that indicates that Rodan will deliberately attack Humans in Godzilla King of Monsters.

Oh man, you know what'd be a crazy idea?
If this painting is the result of ancient humans having actually killed off Rodan's mate, and thus angered him enough for him to directly attack them!
Then, he awakens in the present day, finds these disgusting things are EVERYWHERE, and starts causing a ruckus that brings out Mothra and/or Godzilla, who promptly try to get him to cut out that crap.

I've seen Kong: Skull Island three times and never noticed that. Great observation.

I think that would really give Rodan an advantage over his oppenents. He can fly and have some kind of offensive attack while in flight. we already have mothra that can also fly but at least can have this supposed "toxic" attack. Rodan should have something neat as well.
in Godzilla vs Mech-Godzilla 2(1993) we barely see Fire Rodan do any damage with its fire beam against any foe. When it used it on Mecha-G2 it didn't even make MG2 flinch! it was the first time we see Rodan in this new form with a new ability and it doesn't even matter much. so I hope if he can fire some kind beam or fire, it should look like it hurts when getting hit by Rodans breath.

Yah that would be a good idea to have a Monsterverse film to focus on a paleolithic tribe trying to survive the rampage of some Kaiju.

That would an awesome spin off movie!
Godzilla Generations was a beautiful game! I loved the fact that there's a laser cannon inside of Dr. Serizawa's eyepatch.

that would be interesting. they could just add the meganulons or some other MUTO insects to give it some ground. add some old tribe drama and BOOM, new Rodan movie. They can adopt all the old things about the original Rodan movie. They can pass this off as a sci-fi horror movie very easily.
I personally love the original Rodan film more than the original Mothra movie. There was so many attributes of the movie. There was of course the suspence, mystery, horror, action and sci-fi elements! Out of all the other Toho kaiju universe movies Rodan is on my top 5!

I think that a Kaiju attacking some primitive settlement would be a much more refreshingly original idea then the old "Kaiju wrecks havoc in New York, Tokyo, or some other influential major city in the world".

Willnotbenamed,
I agree with you, but to add to the MUTO mayhem and add that "tip of the hat" to the orignial. Im not saying he should attack a city. I was trying to say that the Meganulons or some new MUTO's attack the primitive tribe as well. Tribe wants insect MUTO's gone, they try exterminating them at a nest somewhere near Rodan, Rodan is awoken by man's rage and lust for revenge or something and there ya go, new but familiar concept. Sorry if I give everyone here a hard time understanding my points. I often rant and forget where Im going with them. haha
