GODZILLA DESIGN TOURNAMENT - Round 8 - 1994 vs. 2004

'94 gets my vote

The face of Godzilla 1994 is savage, menacing, and and brutal. Far and away over-shines the Final Wars Godzilla--which you can tell they tried to go for a composite Godzilla suit with, but it did turn out that well. 94 has my vote.

MOGEGOJI (1994)

All of them are better than that stupid water iguana mixed with a T.rex

Tough choice 94 has a better face, but bodywise looks a little overweight, while FinalGoji's head doesn't look as good but, has a better body.

Just like with GMK, gonna say if it was just the head MogeGoji, but since it's whole body.

I like both designs, but IMO MogeGoji is a more iconic design.

Mogegoji for me. '94 is such an iconic design for me. I always thought Finalgoji looked off. As if Godzilla went on a diet before fighting all his opponents at once lol I also detested Anguirus' design in Final Wars. He gained all the weight Godzilla lost hahaha

Just realized that even though Heisei is my favorite era, I've voted against all of its suits so far.

Eh this one kind of had a weight problem. The only reason I'll vote for DesuGoji(most likely depends who it goes against) is because while the suit may have been awful to wear it was cool seeing the light up power and smoke coming off it, and maybe the color change made the suit look slimmer to me.

Once GhidoGoji and BioGoji show up though I'll be voting for them until they either win the whole thing, or get knocked out, those are the high point of heisei era design to me.

When this tournament is over, and if you make another one. Could it be about who is the best Godzilla kaiju?

We'll see. I have other tournaments in mind and I'm normally more interested in other facets of the franchise--Particularly details revolving around the way these films are made more than general monster talk and fantasy battles.
