What American Actor would you like to see in a future Toho G film

Not sure I want to see an American actor in it. That hasn't worked out well in the last two series and there's no way Toho would be able to afford high profile actors like the ones you've listed.

I'd be more interested in certain Japanese actors getting into the series like Takeshi Kitano, Goro Kishitani, Yusuke Kiroshima or even the return of Megumi Odaka since she's reportedly gotten better from her long illness.

We haven't had an American actor in a Japanese Godzilla film for fifty years, so maybe Bryan Cranston.

Toho hasn't used an actual American actor in a film since the Showa era. Sure they've had American people play roles in the Heisei and Millennium series, but none of them were really actual actors and most of them performed horribly. Don Frye in Final Wars was probably the best of them since he just decided to act as badass as possible and made his character awesome.

I don't see Toho bringing in any high-profile Hollywood actors for any future films. Toho had much better relations with Hollywood in the Showa era and bringing one in now would be far too unnecessarily expensive. Maybe of course if there are English-speaking roles in upcoming films Toho could be a bit more selective with who they cast, but it's doubtful considering only really native English-speaking audiences can notice the poor acting.

I don't know... Leo Meneghetti was slammed pretty hard by Japanese critics for Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla in 1993.

I think Chuck Wilson was probably the best of the bunch since Nick Adams. He's not as interesting to watch as Don Frye, granted, but unlike Frye he was actually an actor.

Well, it's hard to take Meneghetti's dialogue and delivery seriously regardless of any language barrier. The Japanese actors who were forced to speak English in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II were better in their delivery than he was.

The American actors who played the Futurians actually did do a good job in their roles I will admit. It looks like they actually spoke their dialogue in Japanese in the films, which is difficult to do.
