Which past Godzilla design do you think G 2014 looks most like? And which do you think he looks least like?

King-goji, 1962. They're both broad, stock, reptillian faces, long snout, enormous legs... The thing that matches the least about them are the dorsal spines.

His overall stature is reminiscient of the original '54 and early Showa versions, explaining the lack of external ears and shorter and more pronounced head.

His stockiness/bulk seems to fall along the lines of Heisei designs, with heft and power behind each step.

The more reptilian texture and more rocky-looking dorsal plates are in resemblance of the 1999 and 2000 variations, albeit much smaller, at around average Godzilla size.

The feet are blunter and have a bit of Showa essence due to their more squat nature, but their "tree-trunkiness" is all LegendaryGoji.

He looks like a mix of the 90's heisei Godzilla and the 1954 Godzilla with a little 1962 Godzilla. But he definitely doesn't look like any of the Showa Godzilla designs after 1962.

Godzilla 2014 is a combination of many things.

He is not one nor two Godzilla designs. in truth, he is a mixture of every single design of the King.

But in the truth behind the truth, he is unique, as no other Godzilla has ever been like him. From the awesome Hands, Legs, and overall stature. He truthly looks nothing like a Godzilla.

But if you want to pin point certain designs he resembles.

Godzilla 2014 closely resembles Godzilla 1989, from his mouth to the overall accent of character.

After 89 he is 1954, from his Atomic Breath having a white tinge to his overall size and Kin like status.

Godzilla 2014 attitude and overall power you feel from him resembles Godzilla 1964.

When you look at hsi eyes in the staredown they almost look identical to 1964.

Also Godzilla 2014's character and never quit and fight to the end nature make him even closer to 1964.

But in heinsight of everything here Godzilla 2014 is his own creation, truthly, he is no Godzilla other then himself.

I see a lot of '84 and Hanna Barbera Goji in him. 

And he least looks like...

Look at how different the 1999 suit was from all the previous Godzilla designs, it was radically different, being much more reptilian than the rest.

That being said, I'd say this design is as different from the rest, as the 1999 suit was different than the rest. Such drastic changes, but still keeping a close resemblence on the important things. He stands up up straight-ish, he has giant dorsal-plate/spikes/scutes/fins/whatever-they're-called, which is really all you need.

This one has gills, which no other design has had. His spikes are much more triangular, whereas the other designs were more "Christmas tree-fins" as Edwards called them;

This design reminds me more of a bear than a specific Godzilla suit.

So I'm going to be the guy who argues that he doesn't look like any specific suit, but rather he is a unique design

To me he looks like a mix of 1984,and 1954,and he really does not look like the Showa Godzilla,Godzilla Final Wars,and Godzilla 2000.
