In any case, I'd watch another traditionally made Godzilla film in a heartbeat. That style of special effects is what Godzilla popularized in Japan. That's the effects style Godzilla is "king" of. I'd love to see another movie made in the toku tradition.
In America he's merely a pauper, borrowing effects styles that were popularized by Jurassic Park, The Abyss and other Spielberg/Cameron innovations.
