Would G2014 had a better Human story if Dave Callaham wasnt hired?

No mean to bash this dude.

but alot of people say that the main weakness of this new film is the human story.

and the guy who worked on the story was Dave callaham the same dude who did the story for the horrible 2005 doom, tell tale and the expendables films.

If some one else was hired to do the story originaly instead, would there had been a better reception for the movies plot?

im sure there would have been and btw why was there like 4 more writers rewritting the  script?

possibly cause of the story Dave Callaham wrote.
