MemberBaragonApr-25-2014 5:10 PMHowdy folks! Get this… I went to Barnes & Noble today looking for that epic Fangoria with Godzilla on the cover, and while I didn’t find that, I looked through all the other magazines and found Sci Fi magazine, which had a sweet 2 page story on Godzilla, entitled “A Force of Nature”! I'll post some images (please excuse the quality) of the article soon so you can read it for yourselves, because, while most of it was stuff we’ve heard, I did spot something interesting I haven’t seen anywhere else… apparently, the character of Joe Brody will feature in all three major years/eras in the film, meaning he’ll be present in the 1954 opening of the film! Here’s the quote from Bryan Cranston:
“It’s a very linear story, starting in 1954 when my character’s a little boy and this eruption happens and that’s follows by another big situation that catapults the story to 1999 and then to present day in 2014…”
So… THAT’S big! Apparently, Joe is a part of Godzilla’s entire 60 year history, but just what he witnesses in 1954, if anything, is still a big question. But it’s still a significant revelation!
What do you all think?!
(I will do my best to track down images for this thread, so stay tuned!)

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-26-2014 4:04 AMHow old is Joe Brody in the movie because Bryan Cranston wasn't even born in 1954 :D
He turned 58 in march.
But a very interesting fact that he has a role in '54, '99 an 2014.
