If you look at the end of the godzilla extended look, you can clearly see Godzilla facing the camera and roaring. What is he roaring at? Is it a MUTO? A break of the fourth wall? Or a scene in the trailer that will never be seen in the final product?Either way I'd **** myself if he was facing down at me like that

I expect it is a roar from one of the film's final battles with Godzilla roaring either in triumph or at a muto before battling

Godzilla is surely roaring at a Muto before fighting it

I'd say he's turning to face one of the MUTO organisms - roaring his rage and defiance before he engages in battle! :)

GODZILLLAFRANCE - Never assume anything my friend.

There is nothing to say he's roaring at a Muto. For all we know, he's just roaring to roar or perhaps to intimidate encroaching military forces.

The only fact about this picture is that he's roaring. Outside of that single fact, we have no idea what he's roaring at. We can speculate all we want, but never fall into the trap of "oh it has to be this!" because the chances are that you're wrong.

Just enjoy the pic for now, and when the movie comes out you'll know what it's about.

Patience is a virtue that many G fans seem to lack these days. Godzilla is less than a month away. You can wait.

I imagine that maybe the military tried to set a trap for godzilla somehow (I don't know, don't ask me) and he is roaring at them before being either a) caught in an explosion beneath him and buried (which would explain why we see his hand on the ground as he is getting up or b) he is bombarded with missles and knocked down in which case would also lead to him getting back up. Well that's just my crazy theory.

Like has been said, I'm sure he's roaring at a MUTO, but..I think the reason for the shot was for the 3D movie goers, it has a 3D element to it.
