Hey everyone! Been an avid Godzilla fan ever since I was 5! I can't wait to see the new Godzilla movie, it looks like it will be epic!

Now on to the confusion.....

I've seen on several posts here earlier that people are already buying tickets??? Even to the point that a theater mentioned in another post was already sold out? I thought that advance sale tickets went on sale last week. I just dont want to miss a chance to see it that first day its out! Can someone share some light on this?

Lol, what you(and other people) need to understand is that rules are bendable. "Officially", yes, tickets release next week. But it's really the theater's call as to when to put them on sale. The production companies really have no power over that.

I remember years ago I was in the area of a theater. The Incredible Hulk movie was set to come out in about 4 weeks and some odd days. I just happened to go up and ask the box office cashier if they were selling tickets yet and she said they were so I bought two right then and there. I guess it does depend on the theater and how luck you get for certain movies. I live in California and I'm definitely on the look out for Imax viewings for the sneak preview Thursday night. I'll shout it out once I find a theater that is selling advance tickets.
