MemberMothra LarvaeApr-09-2014 6:39 PMWhy use soft slow music? When you can use EPIC music! Look up some epic music and try to make a video using that. Try out with a classic O Fortuna song, and go from their. its a thought. But do you want, just telling you.

On topic of this, I quite enjoyed it. Can't give much of an opinion, though.

MemberMothra LarvaeApr-11-2014 7:11 AM@ZaffZillha- You're right but I think there's already some Godzilla tribute videos (with O fortuna & other epic musics) on youtube. Anyway, whenever Godzilla comes to our mind, people genreally likes to think of epic, rock or heavy metal stuffs with it. I just wanted to make a tribute blend with some moving emotional appeal as we can see this new film is going have a great human part in the story & all those cool shots of destructions & loss can express nicely with a soft musical treatment. Moreover, Enya's this LOTR ost is also quite an epic track, IMO.

I must agree that the heavy metal stuff has never fit with Godzilla, as much as some fans think it does. And while the "epic" instrumental stuff can work with it, youtube gets oversaturated with it.
Now I'm not entirely sure Enya works here either, but it's a breath of fresh air from all the "metal" music fan videos that have plagued the interwebs.
