I haven't seen even a HINT of this centipede monster in any of the new Godzilla 2014 movie footage that is coming out. This certainly isn't a MUTO, so what is it?

Maybe it's Muto in an more evolved/mutated form that will later appear in the film.

Unused concept. The movie story and script had not even been finished. That monster wont be in the movie. Im ready to bet my existence on it. Its not in the film. It was just a quickly sketched monster for a cheap teaser for comic-con.
It doenst fit with the two other monsters, and there are no toys of it. And its not to keep it secret, toy companies ALWAYS end up showing this stuff off.

It would be cool IF Gareth and Legendary are pleased with the results of the first movie, if they used this kaiju design for the sequel. There was alot of hints in the viral marketing about big holes in the ground assuming made by a creature. Well maybe those holes never really get addressed in the movie until the end and it leads into the sequel and this multi leg'd kaiju!

Probably not going to be in the movie. But at first I thought it would be a MUTO/Godzilla Hybrid due to the bulk and it's 8 arms

I remember the toy description saying the mutos and godzilla were ancient enemies (please correct meif I am wrong) is it possible the film with have scenes showing the past and this is a small scene showing godzilla as the king of his time with the defeated creature in front of him?

@dynamicpeanut:
I highly doubt it would be footage from his past, considering in that clip, you can see broken buildings and power lines. But I think that this might be Godzilla's "ancient foe" and be the big daddy monster boss at the end. the muto i think, are man made. the reason i say this is because the mutos look too modern to me. like they don't look like they'd be from the same time period as Godzilla.

I appreciate your all's feedback. this kaiju looks AWESOMEEE but unfortunately it probably won't be in the movie :(
I'm up for a surprise though!
