well after seeing the stuff in the official godzilla merchandising thread, like toys, plates, napkins, pens etc. i have a feeling it will be rated PG-13

I've a feeling you're likely spot-on, MURPH DOG. That'd target the broadest specturm of movie-goers and draw in a considerable amount of revinue. That being said, I certainly hope they didn't "aim" for that rating. That's anathema to creativity.

i have said this in the past on other forums not regarding to this topic but yes it is going to be a very strong PG-13 rating it will never be rated R :)

The description of the new german godzilla trailer says "FSK 12" so it is "PG-13"

If there's none of that I don't care what rating it is... Unless they make it G, add Godzuki... make godzilla the savior of the earth. And the mutos are ladybugs.
