Will Gareth Edwards Godzilla beat Peter Jacksons King Kong at the Box Office?

I don't know King Kong is a very big name. I think this Godzilla will do well, but I don't know about doing better than King Kong.

Oh that's a tough call. I think that the odds of it being more successful or less successful are even, because both of these films are remakes to the world's most well-known giant monsters. I suppose we'll just have to wait, or get some form of wizard to join this forum.

Well it's not impossible for that to happen,honestly i wouldn't be all that suprised if Godzilla made that much money.

Dont forget how many people live in Japan alone, and i bet about 3/4 of America is going to see it, and the U.K., So yeah and if it made that much money how many sequels could it make with just that money earned.

Its possible. Of course, how the film will be perceived by the public and critics will have a large impact on the b.o. 

now i liked king kong, but i'm sure godzilla will beat it, who knows
