Hello there. As I've folowed the various interviews, spoilers, and trailers that have been released for Edward's upcoming film, it's become quite clear that Godzilla (2014) will likely feature destruction on a global scale. I've a question regarding this: does this mean that there will truly be an "end of the world" situation taking place within the film, and, if so, does this mean that the various monsters (kaiju) within the film will be rising up (swimming forth, flying down) to attack multiple countries across the world? Your thoughts are most appreciated, even if you decide to keep them to yourselves, freinds.

Well, I assume that this may lead to such an event possibly. But again, possibly. We don't know for sure how many of these creatures that evolved into living gods survived into this day and age. I do know one thing: these Earth-based Kaiju so far appear to be more accomplished than those Anteverse-based ones from Pacific Rim. Well, for the time being anyways. Mother nature is one strange scientist with all her crazy Kaiju experiments!

Indeed. The creatures featured within Godzilla (2014) seem to be of a brand far superior to those presented in Pacific Rim. As such, I've little doubt that they're quite capable of bringing a swift end to our civilization. My only hope is, should it indeed turn out to be the end of Man's world, the process is presented in a startling fashion rather than an all-out ID4 manner (though, I can't say Will Smith wouldn't be hunorous to see in a Godzilla film!).

force of nature or act of god? either way humanity will always lose there is nothing we can do against forces like that we can try but in the end we are demolished.

Indeed. However, I wonder how soundly demolished mankind will be during the throes of this latest Godzilla iteration. Perhaps the end of civilization is a theme throughout the film.

I always like the prospect of a post-apocalyptic world in the likes of some famous video game franchises like the Metro and Fallout series, but with Kaiju ruling the Earth instead. Of course, I do have my fair share of fan-made ideas revolving around such scenarios. Silly humans, thinking they'll make a mark in this universe! Maybe one day I'll share said ideas..... Nah! It's too much awesomeness for you mere mortals to handle!
