I can see Gareth Edwards walking through a city?

Wow, he's huge!

But yeah, it does sound like they chose a nice size for Godzilla.

I'm having trouble figuring out what you're getting at. So if Godzilla were real, and in my city, would I be able to see him? I would hope so. If he were invisible then we'd have much bigger problems.

i think he means that is godzilla so big you could see him anywhere in a city right

Actually, if I am inferring correctly, this individual is asking if you can imagine godzilla standing within your city - perhaps next to a skyscraper or other suitably large strucutre - and, if so, how you manage it. Perhaps they are intersted in knowing how you go about the process of visualizing the creature in your mind's eye.

Oh wow what do ya know a thread that hasn't been closed yet...!

Moderators, seriously... I understand you're trying to cut down on repeat threads but now all you're doing is leaving a long string of threads on the main page that no one can comment on! The thread with the possible movie leak I understand MAYBE... But the t-shirt one and some of the other ones!? Are you kidding!? We DON'T know for sure how many MUTOs or their exact specs are in the film, many of us dont have time to go digging through months of topics to see if there already exists one for a topic... We have LIVES and often many of us just look at the forum topics on the main page to see what's being talked about. So really... I rarely have this term bit STOP BEING FORUM NAZIS AND START BEING FORUM MODERATORS!!! There has been so many times when I wanted to comment on something that was closed and it's making it so I don't even look at the forums on this site anymore... Just the official news stories Chris does a wonderful job of posting. So again... cut it out. Let us talk. Direct people towards the right page but don't close off something because you want it talked about somewhere else. Moderate for negative content and that's it... Please!

@Linkman

There are sticky threads that are easily accesable when you click on different sections of the forum. We'll ease up if you can stop posting the same stuff over and over. And make sub topics, of sub-topics, of sub-topics, of sub-topics, of sub-topics. The MUTO threads are out of control. Everytime someone has a single, minute theory there's a new thread. Merchandise/t-shirts/toys can be be isolated in one thread that's easily found and stickied in the Godzilla 2014 section. Same goes for posters.

There's still plenty of freedom and threads we let slip by that deserve to be closed. If anything, we're still being extremely lennient in places we shouldn't. If you want easily found topics and sources, the solution is simple: Stop making so many repeat topics and sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-topics of every minor thought that springs to mind and added to the clutter. (Not unlike this thread, but I can't do anything about it because, quite frankly, the OP hasn't done anything wrong. He simply doesn't understand it's not worth making anew topic over.)

Sorry clicking a couple of buttons is a vast inconvenience, but the mods have lives as well and it's easier to moderate discussion when it's consolidated and organized. Chris is hard at work to make things easier to navigate so less repeat topics happen. In the meantime the most solice I can offer is: Deal with it.

@linkman and Gman

While I'll agree slimming crap down is nice, there is a bit of 'fun policing' going on. Trying to calm a massive wave of hyper fans sharing their news and thoughts is like trying to explain religion to a squirrel.

Its a practice in futility and self righteousness at best. Sure, its nice to to knack down the damn near identical threads, but I have to agree with Linkman on the t-shirt thing. I can't see the general benefit of having every item posted on the merchandising thread because it doesn't warrant the spectacle of a title like "NEW GODZILLA SHIRT DISCOVERED".

Instead, the only inkling I have to whether or not a new product has been discovered is reading the user comment notifications on said item as I rally through all the discussions.

And useless threads tend to die out pretty quick here, regardless of being closed. I can come back here after two days of inactivity and see the same discussion raging between fans that was going the day before. If it isn't that interesting, or at lleast doesn't butthurt someone enough to warrant an argument, it seems to get thrown in the garbage rather quick, without the policing.

He is 350ft Tall people, those things on his neck ARE gills, and the Brazil photo is part of the final advertising design-- Deal with it.

@Akagi

I don't disagree that needless topics tend to go downt he crapshoot pretty quickly here. (Like this one typically would.) But the fact is the movie is coming and people need to understand there's going to be more consolidating once its released: I'm sorry, but we're not going to have a new thread for everyone's review on the movie. If anything we're gently preparing members and ourselves to organize things better as the movie comes-- regardless of how futile an attempt you believe that to be or not.

I and others have proposed some cosmetic changes that might readily prevent repeat posts and keep stickied topics immediately visible upon clicking the forums, but it's not happened yet. In the meantime we've been very lennient with things that still need to be shut down. (Case and point with this thread.)

If you like I can consolidate all the merchandise pictures to the original post so it's easily seen when you click on the merch thread and a new post in it will be updated any time a new shirt or toy is added.

This thread should be closed simply for the awful grammar.

Gman- first up I rarely, if ever, post new topics. I think I've posted a total of 3 topics, one was asking what happened to Godzilla on Netflix, another was giving people access to the SDCC 12 trailer when we didn't get a new trailer on Valentine's Day, which I was thanked for, while YOU were posting a new topic to brag about how right you were that there wasn't a trailer that week. I don't post repeat topics, so don't lecture me and say "You" need to stop posting repeat threads

some of is don't like to go searching through the forums for the right topics to discuss something. In fact, MANY of us don't. Most of the time I don't even come on here looking to discuss something unless I read an interesting forum post on the list on the home page or if I know for sure something hadn't been brought up. so people are posting sub topics... SO WHAT? Oh, it's hard to moderate them, boo-freaking-hoo! That's part of the challenge of being a MODERATOR! You can either give power to the people to let them discuss as they will and enjoy what's supposed to be a FAN site or you can get power hungry like you have, "allowing" posts to continue that YOU think should be closed when many other people may want them kept open! Im a guy, I don't decide "I'm going to buy a Godzilla shirt today" and go looking, I see something I wasn't expecting and decide on the spot, maybe I want to comment on it, IT'S NOT YOUR PLACE AS THE SPEECH POLICE TO SHUT DOWN DISCUSSION ON IT LIKE SOME DICTATOR!! Believe me, I've seen you post some topics on here that I would have LOVED to have shut down because all they did was try to show how right you are but I didn't because it's not my place. If people want to talk about something, let them. If you don't want to have to work to make sure conversations are being civil, DONT BE A MODERATOR!!!

So, ummm..... if I could just interrupt and get back to the topic at hand for the particular original discussion, I'd say Godzilla would just absolutely tower over everything in my home city. Most buildings don't even come up to his shins, with only a choice few possibly reaching his arms.

Good heavens! This became derailed rapidly! THEGMAN123 - that would be rather intimidating to see.

well here in my hometown the buildings would collapise due to his weight the tallest building here in my hometown is 50 feet.
