That to me was personally way too forgiving. To each their own I get that but just from the glimpses of toy images released today I think it's obvious now that this movie is respectful to us fans and Godzilla himself. Much more then the "98" version even tried to be. I am beyond estatic over this movie now. Everthing I've seen and read about has me pumped. The people who are lucky enough to have seen the movie or viewed extended scenes have fortified my faith that this film will deliver. I some people will always like that "98" film but to me that film was very misleading and I still feel duped about it. TriStar took us for dopes when they released that so called Godzilla movie and now Legendary/WB are setting things right withe the focused direction of Gareth Edwards and co. Btw I'm not an "ELITIST" becayse I feel this way. This is purely my truth and the truth that many long time Godzilla fans feel. We are entitled to our opinions. "98" doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned at least not as a Godzilla movie. They didn't even try to get his look right not at all.
