I don't know if there is a topic like this. I'm not on here often enough. Godzilla has had many explosive and memorable entrances on screen. With the description of the Hawaiian tidal wave and airport battle, the newest film doesn't seem to be an exception. So what are your personal favorites? One of my top favorites is deginitely Terror of MechaGodzilla.

While on the whole, the movie is inferior to it's 1974 predecessor; that entrance at least was AWESOME. It was probably the best Godzilla entrance in the whole series :-)

Great topic! It's hard to beat the original Godzilla's head peaking over that hill on Odo Island, but Terror of Mechagodzilla's entrance is rediculously awesome! Mothra vs Godzilla has one of the best too! I also like Godzilla's arival in Godzilla vs Hedorah, where he lumbers in front of the setting sun. Its a great visual! But for nastalgia, I'm gonna have to go with Godzilla 2000 though. :) Foggy night, a shrouded boat hovers through the air, and then... THE EYE! Just perfect! :D

In addition to being the best film of the 1970s, Terror of MechaGodzilla boasts the most badass entrance perhaps in the whole series. I've racked my brain to think of something superior, but nothing topped how quick and vigilant that arrival was.

Runner-ups might be him bursting from the earth in Godzilla vs. Mothra and his return from the volcano in Godzilla vs. Biollante.

I'm gonna say Terror of MechaGodzilla as my all time favorite arrival.

But 84 had a nice arrival as well.

He is 350ft Tall people, those things on his neck ARE gills, and the Brazil photo is part of the final advertising design-- Deal with it.

Godzilla vs Biollante.

The buildup with him finally walking out of the exploding volcano was just too good. Second was probably him showing up to fight Titanosaurus in Terror of MechaGodzilla.
