I apologize if someone else has already posted this, but this is something interesting that I found during the Godzilla trailer. During one of the scenes, one of the soliders is looking at what looks like a glowing tentacle. This is the scene that I am referring to:
When I saw that scene, I put some thought into it, and I realized that I saw something similiar in Garteh Edwards's first film Monsters. During the last scene, you get to see a full shot of two of the alien monsters. In it, they have a set of glowing tentacles somewhat similiar to the one in the trailer still.

MemberMothra LarvaeFeb-25-2014 9:29 PMThat is very true! Gareth has his own unique visual style. I just thought that this was interesting. He probably decided to go along with a similiar design of some sort for that concoon or whatever it is in the trailer.
