What I'm about to type might annoy people, and it might contain spoilers, so turn back now if you're thin skinned or allergic to spoilers.
Things I noticed.
The 'fake script' that was locked in everyone's perpetual 'BS folder” is real. The trailer more than proves this. The giant skeleton and 1954 accounts pretty much go hand and hand with that 'fake script'-- I know a lot of you people don't want to accept it, but its looking more and more like the script was real. Yeah, you thought it looked like it was 'written poorly', but that is just how scripts are written.
Reasons for me coming to this conclusion are the whole nuclear attacks on Godzilla in general go inline with the script that claimed that Godzilla was attacked several times by nuclear weapons and survived...
The giant skeleton goes hand and hand with the part of the script that orients around the fact that they discover another Godzilla's remains. Don't believe me, look up the script details.
Which brings me to my next point-- the entire “can Godzilla survive a nuke” argument has been pretty much settled. Obviously Godzilla is nuked in the trailer and survives.
I'll be glad to admit if I were wrong on any of this when the film finally comes out, but until then, or until I get some more info, its looking like my assumptions hold some truth.

AdminGodzillaFeb-25-2014 4:16 PMI kind of figured the script was real based on some background information about it, but the information was simply evidence. Not proof. Akagi's right though. The new trailer pretty confirms that the script was real.

Agreed. It just seemed... too likely. I assumed the script was real very early on and as pages leaked, it became painfully obvious to me that it was. I got kinda tired of seeing people who haven't read a script in their lives bashing the pages for being 'written silly'-- scripts are meant to be over-sensationalized literal versions of a film, it does look silly... a lot of scripts are read outloud to potential directors. Imagine how silly that sounds. Kevin Smith talks about how painful it is to read a script outloud to a potential director/producer.

Well when the film comes out, either one of us are going to be singing THIS SONG when the film comes out. At this point though-- I'm fairly certain its going to be me singing that majestic song. Dang thing has become my anthem for many forums and fandoms I belong to.
I already have that song queued up for Kyero after his two page long rants about how Godzilla 'couldn't survive a nuke'.

All scripts were over sensationalized, but I have to admit... even that one had some painful lines and grammar errors. Still, from what I know, it was a draft written before the next 4 or 5 revisions by Goyer and Darabont. And Aaron Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen were siblings in that version, not married.
Beyond that I only know fragments and pieces as I like to stay away from spoiler, more or less.

MemberMothra LarvaeFeb-25-2014 4:58 PMAm I the only one who thinks that the mutos could be Kamacuras.

MemberMothra LarvaeFeb-25-2014 8:41 PMThis is disturbing. If the "leaked script" results to be true, then the skeleton found most be of one Godzilla specimen, previously killed and used as food for the mutos!!! However, like I said before, the skeleton doesn't look like a Godzilla, is too long and narrow.
I don't want a Godzilla that is just "prey" from another predator, Godzilla is the KING, not the victime here. >:(

The script doesn't refer to Godzilla as 'prey' but as a rival for the Muto creatures. The script basically states that the Godzilla stars in this film is 'changed' by the bombing attempts on him. Meaning that the movie Godzilla is bigger, stronger, and meaner than the Godzilla that was locked in combat with the Muto in the ice.
Besides-- what would make Godzilla more awesome than if he killed something that was designed to kill him?
Lets be honest, part of what made the Kong King of Skull Island book so cool was finding out how KONG became king-- he earned it.
