King Godzilla24.7
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-15-2013 9:53 PMI just thought about it & was wondering if a baby Godzilla egg or Species might be seen in the new Godzilla 2014 film, leaving the room for some kind of sequel. My guest is most likely, does anybody have any details on this possiblitly ??
No, it's not going to happen, and that's because a baby Godzilla wouldn't fit in with the atmosphere of the movie at all. Not to mention that Legendary only bought the rights to Godzilla, not Little Godzilla/Baby Godzilla/Minilla. Godzilla isn't going to die in this movie.
Personally I hope so! To add an interesting twist to the story, and to shake the Godzilla universe, the child would be a female Godzilla. Say that, if it grew into adulthood, would be even more dangerous than its male counterpart (hence the need to protect it from the humans and other monsters).
I believe in Jesus Christ, who's my Lord and Savior.
John 3:16, Job 41:1-34, Leviticus 18:22
Nope. As much as i love Minya/Minnila/Mi-whatever, i like the idea of Godzilla being a lonely, last of his kind.
The only way I could see a baby coming in is if Godzilla dies which I don't see happening, but you never know
i thinck its possible that later on a younger godzilla could be a failed attempt to clone godzilla(the failed attempt thing allows for a more individual appearance). Godzilla could adopt it, then see it get killed, adding to his whole lonliness thing.

@Godzilla_Himself yes it's Mothra's egg lol
Technically there will be a baby Godzilla because when Godzilla was first born and mutated, he was a baby! So, even though we might not see him, there will be a baby Godzilla!
FOR SCIENCE OF COURSE!
I hope not. The only Godzilla offspring worth noting was Godzilla Junior, and he didn't get cool until his third appearance. Besides, there's no need for a baby Godzilla for a sequel, Godzilla SHOULDN'T die. If he does, then they failed. The idea of the Oxygen Destroyer was because Toho didn't expect the movie to be as popular as it was.
Iff Godzilla dies, then maybe we could have a very small scene where a lizard-sized "baby" runs around. Like a 3 second clip. Just to let us know that Godzilla cannot die.
I agree that baby G doesn't fit the atmosphere of the movie. However, if, and only if, Godzilla is killed (which might happen considering Serizawa is in this movie), I think their needs to be something that shows the audience that it isn't over. If hummanity continues their "scientific arrogance," than Godzilla will be back.
And yes, lizard sized. No Jurassic Park Raptors in this movie!
KAIJUKRITIC, are you suggesting a sort of pheonix ability? cause that would actually be pretty interesting.

The movie looks like it will be very scary and serious, so I don't think they will make room for this cute little guy. I could be wrong though. :)
