Hive Mind theory

According to many people, at least one (variant) of muto is insectlike. Many species of insects have hive minds. What if the big, eight legged muto controlled smaller mutos? What if the main eight legged muto was actually a queen?

I don't know where this leaves the winged muto, though I'm sure the word "muto" is substitute for the word "monster", like I've said several times in the past. That being said, I'm guessing that the winged muto isn't an insect, or at the very least, not in the same group of the other muto(s).

What do you think of this idea? Bad? Stupid? Does it make sense? Is it brilliant?

Sorry I don't mean to stalk your posts haha That would be cool, and could lead to some understanding as to why they're attacking cities and such. Many insects run off a hive mind. Mostly the dominating ones likes ants, bees, wasps, termites, etc.

xD Don't be sorry. This is why I posted the idea in the first place. Feedback is nice.

This reminds me of Legion from the one of the newer Gamera movies. Legion was a large beetle like thing that controlled hundreds of smaller beatles that were attracted to electronics.

The hive mind is generallypheromone-based, so it is entirely possible for that to happen for basic command coordination between a group of beasts.

xxsaber, although you're right about the fact that Hedorah will not be making an appearance in this movie, there has yet to be any confirmation on the number of monsters in the movie. While three monsters is the generally accepted guess, there could be anywhere up from 2 monsters in total.  While I believe that there will be no more than three main monsters (Godzilla, eight legged muto, and winged muto), I also believe that there will be many "smaller" offspring mutos that will definitely help put the heroes in peril.
