Sadly, I don't have any new information to benefit you v_v Wazzup G fans! I sat down and wondered(Since thats all we can do at this point)how Godzilla will be shown in the movie. Not how "much". Just simply, "How". I don't want his every appearance to become tedious or non-climatic. I want it all to really mean something and every glance we get at him to be mermorable. Im guessing his first appearance will be a proper build up. I also want every scene that we get him to be haunting yet incredible! I want to understand his titan-like size and sheer power. I want to be astonished and also see what "Unstoppable" truly looks like. Im hoping that everytime he leaves a city, its as if it was bombed. I want us to get a real look at the AFTERMATH of the devastation he causes. Now onto the atomic breath. I really hope it isn't overused. However, when he does use it, I want it to be unlike we've ever seen it. Im hoping it causes ultimate destruction. I mean, its basically a mobile nuke you know? Anyway, these are just my wants and opinions. How do you want Godzilla and his awesome ability to be shown?

Godzilla's atomic breath is his ultimate weapon, but it's far from being a "mobile nuke."

The attack is nothing more than a concentrated beam of radiation. Deadly? Yes. Mobile Nuke? No. That beam is capable of almost instantaneously overloading the biological systems of anything living that it comes into contact with. If they stay true to the original, it will also have incendiary properties because of the extreme heat that it generates. Given that fact, it will have the effect of a bomb because the explosion will help spread the radiation beyond the point of impact. However, let's look at what the original nuclear bombs were capable of.

The first nuclear bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan on August 6th 1945. It's total vaporization area measured about one half mile in diameter. Total destruction was within a one mile diameter. Severe blast damage was as far as two miles in diameter. Within a two and a half mile diameter, everything that was flammable and not vaporized immediately ignited and sent blazes running to about the three mile diameter range. Nagasaki was bombed a few days later on August 9th, but received almost identical treatment.

Here's the scary thing though. Physicists estimate that the bombs only used about 1/10th of a percent of their respective total destructive capabilities.

As powerful as Godzilla is, he's nothing compared to the weapons that created him.

The movie will, hopefully, do well and capture his destructive power. However, there is nothing that even the most creative minds can do to alter the fact that the bombs which created Godzilla are infinitely more powerful than the monster himself is. So, this is why his attack is far from being a "mobile nuke," but I understand what you were trying to convey even if it was a little out there.

I definitely want to see an awe inspiring and massively destructive Godzilla as much as anyone does, as I'm one of the most hardcore G-fans out there. But we need to remember where Godzilla's limits are as well because if we lose sight of them, then the monster becomes underwhelming when we see him on the screen. If you compare him to a nuclear bomb, whether you know it or not, you're setting yourself up for disappointment when he makes his debut on screen on May 16th, 2014.

@KYERO, Hmm very good points, ultimately he isnt as powerful as what created him, but shouldn't he be at least close to it? If he is supposed to be a force of nature, and in the end, nature can't be controlled, I thought he should devastating beyond measure. If he isnt as powerful as a nuclear bomb, does that mean, using one will kill him? Or should kill him?
