So, allow me to just say this... I WAS RIGHT! DAMN! WOOH! Okay, so I had made a post, on a different discussion, about how I thought "Mutos" was just another word for "Monster". I was right. Go me, it's my birthday. Okay, now that I'm done being a jack ass, the figures are back for preorder, and we got another idea on what the other monster is. You're welcome. Godzilla figures are back on sale, and on one of the descriptions, we get the EIGHT-LEGGED MUTO, and the WINGED MUTO. I have to thank E.T. (Entertainment Talk) on youtube for bringing this to everyone's attention. It sounds like we`ll either get multiple MUTO`s or a changing one. I guess the eight legged one is the one from the trailer shown at comic con 2013 (NOT THE ONE THAT WAS RELEASED), and the winged is either another type or its evolution/morph state. Personnaly, i like where this is going.

One source doesn't prove squat. I have read more sources that only tell of one Muto.

Most stories I've read report that he will face at least two other monsters in the movie. So I'm more inclined to believe it will not be a morphing type, but showing multiple monsters.

Godzillasaurus, that's because they're all reporting from the source. Besides, like Grin Reaper said, most people have been hearing two monsters, not only one. Not many people have read all of the figure descriptions. On the chibi figures description, it says "BOTH mutos". Take that as you'd like, but it's easier to speculate that there's more than one Muto.

I think these "Mutos" aren't going to be a match for godzilla, and they could possibly join together and fuse into a stronger monster like Destroyah.

@Bcrockett94, I am already fully aware that there will be two monsters for Godzilla to fight in this movie. But I am talking about "Mutos" being the same kind of monster, not two different monsters. I will be pissed if I find out that Godzilla's two foes will be just two of the same kind of monster

Hey GODZILLASAURUS. Just be grateful that godzilla isn't the only monster in this movie, if the two monsters(or one) is not what you wanted, then suck it up.

I know I'm probably incredibly wrong on this, but I get this feeling that these 2 new monsters turn up just before or right at the emergence of Godzilla (the king), battle it out very early in the movie. In which the movie then somewhat follows the original movie of Godzilla destroying cities, and capturing the dark atmosphere of the original. Either way, I cannot wait

@Samzilla and Gojira 2014, Legendary promised us TWO DIFFERENT MONSTERS. DIFFERENT does not mean two different individuals of the same monster. Man you guys need to have a little bit of logic

Hmm, does anybody notice how there is no description of a winged monster and an 8 legged muto within the same pack, now is there? They could be the same thing; you never know. People have stated that the thing in the trailer had a wide back, which could imply that it had wings.

I WAS HOPING that the mutos and their variations all come from one source AKA ONE MONSTER which have been confirmed as way smaller than GODZILLA. MAYBE the mutos variations (winged and 8 legged) are sprouting from one monster which the military cant destroy or stop from multiplying (which the term muto sounds like multiple and mutation to me NOW ITS MY BDAY BCROCKET HAHA) so godzilla handles the much smaller kaiju then has to face one more of on a size closer to godzilla but ,aybe thats too fantastical for gareth but id think it be awsome CHEERS BROS
