Would Godzilla 2 pick up from KSI?

I think the Hollow Earth stuff was definitely setting things up for the MonsterVerse. And I'm fairly confident there will be some references to Skull Island--Maybe even more than the 2014 Godzilla since the MonsterVerse didn't consciously begin until Skull Island.

I could definitely see some of the recent timeline material making its way into the opening sequence for King of the Monsters.

Since the hollow earth theory basically explains where the monsters have been I can see it being referenced. They may even bring back some characters from Kong: Skull Island since with the time passage you could hire older actors to play them as they grew with Monarch.

They said when Kong Skull Island came out it was the first of the trilogy, and seemed it would connect with the next 2 movies a lot. I think they will go out of the way to connect to Kong since he's coming in the next movie.

After being able to read the timeline, I do think Dance seems the most likely actor to be playing the Jonah character. Still, it's hard to deny he would be a good choice to represent an older Tom Hiddleston.

im sure there will be a way for the movie to pick up somewhere from KSI, maybe before the movie ends or after the credits. just like in KSI.
