IN NEED OF IDEAS!!!

All you need to know is have Legendary Godzilla be badass, feature some cool human characters, an epic story, and have it end with a brutal visceral Godzilla fight between a monster.

I would think that something that touches on the "uneasy" relationship between Godzilla and modern society.  Let's be real.  After swimming off the coast of SF, it'd be silly to think he's going to get "lost" or just lay dormant.  I'm sure everyone and their momma would start to dig into his origins and purpose. Scientist would want to know where and why.  Are there more?  What is he?  People will wonder when will he come back?  Can he be capitalized?  Military would want to know - is he a threat?  Could he be used as a weapon?  Which could open up a MULTITUDE of stories and encounters.

I'd fast forward 200 years....2216

The galaxy has been invaded by the rancid Kore creature, 20 feet tall and tough to kill...they are parasites who destroy worlds!

The military transport Godzilla(and other monsters)in large starships...drop them into Kore territory and let them fight the first waves..

Nuclear weapons don't work on the Kore..they feed off the radiation(the initial blast vaporizes many...but the ones that remain grow stronger and mutate into even larger creatures!) *never use weapons of mass destruction on the Kore*

Kore are named because they come from the core of the galaxy.

Godzilla is currently fighting in Tau Ceti solar system.

The Kore are nearing Earth!

I have an idea: After the SF incident, the nuke that blew up off the Californian coast awakens more kaiju, and an all-out war begins, decimating society.  The government then declares all giant monsters hostile.
