I haven't been on this site since the movie released. But I saw this interesting image quite a while ago.

In the second of the three Monarch videos on the Bikini Island portion of the "Map of the Pacific", at :15, there is a winged serpent that resembles Ghidorah. Did anyone else catch that?  Perhaps Monarch knows about Ghidorah's existence already.

If the pic doesnt work, the link is at the bottom.

I think it is just referencing Godzilla's strong similarities with dragons.

Could be @VARAN04276. But couldn't they have made a better picture of a dragon if they wanted to do it that way?

Classical depictions of dragons were often seroents with wings.

Yeah, I wouldn't read too much into it.  The images of ancient creatures and mythical serpents/dragons was meant to represent Godzilla as a combination of the two: an ancient animal with mythic properties.

Similar images appear in the oppening credits of the film, and were meant to foreshadow Godzilla himself (note the dragon is breathing fire...).  However, when these images popped up in the Monarch videos, I found myself interpreting some of them as symbolizing Monarch's mission... to find creatures previously thought to me myths or legends, and study them.  They could very easily be there to get us thinking about what ELSE might be lying in wait out there, about to reawaken into the modern world...

I agree with everyone else likening Godzilla as a reference to mythological sea monsters that have been in stories ever since exploration began

Perhaps they knew of a Ghidorah-like species and that is what they drew up in that photo. That drawing could also be linked to mideval dragon tales and asian legends. The three heads on ghidorah might be a part of a mutation (due to radiation) that a normally one-headed ghidorah specie would have
