New GODZILLA 2 Synopsis Has Been Updated.

IMDb synopses are completely made up by the site and are not based on anything Legendary officially says. In fact, IMDb's synopsis for Godzilla (2014) said "A giant monster called Godzilla emerges to wreak destruction on his creators" until weeks after the movie came out, which is not at all an accurate description of the movie's plot at all. Some guy on IMDb likely just fabricated this synopsis based on the fact that Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah have been announced. I wouldn't take this synopsis literally.

Yeah I remember when IMDB sadi Tommy Wiseau would be in the movie. Anyone can edit that page wouldn't take it too seriously

^ Haha! That's right I remember it said that he would both direct and star in it. IMDb also says that the monster in the 1998 movie isn't Zilla and that the monster Zilla in Final Wars is just "a parody" of "Godzilla" 1998. So yeah, anyone can add whatever stupid lies they want to IMDb.

Yes, but that doesn't mean to take the synopsis of Godzilla facing the "combined threat" of Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah as fact. It is still more likely that Rodan and Mothra will at some point be Godzilla's allies and that Ghidorah will be the primary antagonist. This highly speculative "synopsis" seems to indicate that Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah will all be evil and fight Godzilla, which isn't necessarily true.

Yeah, it wouldn't make sense if Mothra and Rodan were working with Ghidorah. I wouldn't take the IMDB synopsis very seriously. Just know Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah are in it, there may or may not be more monsters, new or old, and that the monster rumble has returned.

With all due respect, the IMDb plot/snyposis can be edited by anyone at any time, so it doesn't mean anything.

That said, I don't see why the hell they would reveal all 3 at Comic Con and not actually have them all be in the same movie unless the PR team has no earthly idea how to advertise, since it would end up pissing people off and possibly dissuading them from seeing the movie. 

I'm still waiting for my Tommy Wiseau Godzilla film.

IMDB is not official and that is not a synopsis written by any kind of professional or administrative member of Legendary Pictures. Do not put faith in that website. It's complete crap, and has been for most of the "informatoin" regarding Godzilla leading up to the 2014 movie. The only time it had reliable info was AFTER it appeared here on this website and others.
