Honestly, the best advice I can give is contacting Chris. Although, I haven't heard from him since Comic Con, personally.

I just rated and reviewed king kong vs godzilla, ghidorah the three headed monster, and invasion of astro monster.

Now as far as other giant monster movies that i think should be added are these.

1. Reptilian

2. Reptilicus

3. Death Kappa

4. Gappa the triphibian monster (Monster from a prehistoric planet)

5. Yongary monster from the deep

6. Although not Godzilla related but i still would like to rate and review them, all 4 of the tremors movies.

Updated the numbers for the reviews. Chris has deemed Godzilla vs. Destoroyah as the Godzilla film of the week. Might think about revisiting it.

A lot of potential, visually and narrativelly, was not realized in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. But, it is moving and meaningfully eventful in several ways. It has a kind of 'end of time' feeling to it. Godzilla could explode and take half of Asia with him! GvD features a magnificent last stand by the King of the Monsters. There are several touching homages to the Series, and, of course, the classic, genre-starting first film. One of the more memorable moments for me was when Dr. Kensaku Ijuin, responding to reporters' questions about an incident in Tokyo Bay, says, "It's at the bottom of the sea where a brilliant scientist is quietly sleeping." What a beautiful reference to Dr. Daisuke Serizawa! With GvD, everything, Godzilla-wise, came full circle. There was completion, resolution and finality.

And Godzilla! He actually looks like he's going to explode. This was a great performance by Kenpachiro Satsuma. One could feel what Godzilla was going through; it was easy to root and pull for him.

The flying, giant bat-form of Destoroyah is one of the best 'bad guys' in the series.

So, there's a lot to experience and enjoy in GvD.

I've already reviewed both movies of the week. Since I don't have any work today I might take a look at one of the other movies in the series today. Leaning towards SpaceGodzilla, but might go with a showa movie since I haven't reviewed many of them
