The 1998 Zilla movie has been given a 2014 Godzilla makeover with an awesome trailer made that mimics the fantastically eerie trailer from the main Godzilla (2014) trailer that came in February. Thought I'd share:

Zilla has never looked more epic. If only he wasn't killed by a few missiles. Talk about your anti-climax. Does this trailer redux make Zilla's movie look better? Would you guys see a remake of a Zilla movie?

If Zilla is ever rebooted like how I am rebooting him in my fan fic, they should use a trailer similar to this

The trailer is actually pretty neat. However, i wouldnt have any interest in a reboot. I dont like Zilla in general. He isnt my type of kaiju.

I'd lke to see a remake, but shorter, better plot and acting, and no calling the creature Godzilla. (Also, they should get rid of the Jurassic Park references.)

Speaking of that, our fellow forum member @NateZilla is working on a fan remake of the film.

Guess I'm a little late to the party.

Yeah, I'm working on a fan-edit of the movie.

I'm cutting out any mention of "Godzilla" other than base of reference, got rid of some cheesy dialouge, and gave Zilla his power breath from the animated series:
