12 hours until Godzilla arrives

The MUTO could be heard roaring and rampaging the city. Multiple explosions could be heard and seen clearing the darkness of the night, mostly from the multiple attempts that the cretorian army was using, in vain, to destroy the creature. While on the main road, many vehicles where still leaving the city as armoured ground units occupied the other lane of it, the captured MIST team headed into the city through the secondary and more hidden road. Suddenly, the two vehicles stop.
-Ok, the military will be guarding all the entrances to the city up ahead, so we go on foot from now on.-says the head of the Talaghan-Get them out. We are doing some early morning exercise.
They push the Ford and Dr.Takashi out of their vehicle, and the rest of the team was pulled out as well.
-Let's make clear that the reason why I don't kill everyone that is not necessary to us, is because I am feeling in a good mood today, so I expect you don't change my mood for the worse, otherwise we will paint this road with red. Do you understand?-says the master to the team from the other vehicle.
No one answers.
-I will take that as an yes. Let's move. And remember. If the military spots us, they won't ask who is who, so do not have funny ideas or you will go down with us.
They move through the road until they spot a jeep parked with a soldier guarding it. They move into the sidewalk and go through the woods, keeping an eye on the checkpoint. The tension is palpable as they notice many vehicles heading into the city, passing righ beside them.

10 hours until Godzilla encounters the MUTO

-They entered the city. The trackers show that their lifesigns are fine although their heartrate is a bit increased.-says one of the workers
-Of course it is. If the Talaghan find no use to them, they will execute them. it is just a matter of time.-says Stenz
-Why haven't they acted yet?-asks Serizawa
-They must be trying to pass through the cretorian army unnoticed. They can't risk being seen by them or things will get ugly for both sides.
-Let's just hope they manage to take back control. How about Gojira?
-He is picking up the pace. The military must have ceased their attacks for know. If he mantains this pace, ETA will be significantly reduced.
-How much?
-5 hours.
-He surely wants this MUTO as badly as we do.
-Sir, the UN council is on the line.
-What do they want now?-says Serizawa while he goes to his office.
-What is it Secretary General?
-We would like to know how is Operation Kingsguard going.
-The situation is critical. Talaghan has captured MIST and for reasons unknown, is proceeding into Chernogorsk with them.
-Why have you not communicated that already?
-I am confident that our team will get it done.
-I must note Director Serizawa, thet you are making mistake after mistake. Terrorists breached your "high security" Headquarters like if it was the Central Park. And to make matters worse, you couldn't even detect the spore...
-With all due respect Mr.President of the USA, we were counting with the full cooperation of all countries.
-Do not be naive Serizawa. You should know more than everyone that many other countries would have second thoughts about having such a weapon destroyed.
-This is not a weapon. It is an organism that cannot be contained by any goverment. Now if you excuse me gentlemen, I have lives depending on me.

10 4 hours until Godzilla intercepts the MUTO

MIST is still captive by Talaghan and is now sneaking through the streets of the city. It's late night. Ford and Dr.Yamane are at the front, being held at gunpoint by one of the henchmen behind them.
-Where are they taking us?-whispers Ford to Yamane.
-They are going to the Davidoff building where they will force you to weaponize the Anti-Matter.
-Why there?
-It is the tallest building on the city.
-Let me guess, big enough to make a paracheute jump onto Godzilla and plant the bomb on him.
-I think so.
-That is why he told his goons to bring iso-suits. Godzilla is higly radioactive.
-Stop mumbling.Save your strength for the walk.- says the terrorist behind him.-We still have four hours of walking.
They advance through the enourmous city, with the MUTO roaring in the background.
-The first time the MUTO's appeared, they were only trying to reproduce. So far, this one is alone, so why is he attacking the cities?
-You know, every living being has a purpose in life. Maybe by being alone in this world were others prevent your confort makes you think you lost it.
-An act of desperation derivated from loneliness.
-Exactly.
-My father's only purpose was family, even on all those years he spent away from me, it was because he was trying to protect me from harm, even when I called him a lunatic.
-I was there, the night the MUTO hatched. Right in the control room with Serizawa. The work and lives of many simply vanished in a matter of minutes.
-Why did you deserted from Monarch?
-Because I knew they would be dissolved the second that containment fence broke. I went in search of rumors related to spore discoveries, and after half an year of research...
-You found out about this one in Cretoria.
-Precisely. but the time I was ready to destroy it, the Minister of Defense locked down the area and made the same mistake we did and these men are about to do: We tried to control it.

After a few hours of walking, they arrive at the Davidoff building and breach it, going through the stairs.

-Ok, to avoid exposure we will wait for Lieutenant Brody to put the clock ticking on the bomb and then we will head for the roof.-says the leader

They enter exit the staircase and enter an area with cubicle offices. The windows show the MUTO easily fending off the helpless military attacks.

-Poor fools. They just don't know what to do. But we know. Lieutenant, do your job or you can start by saying goodbye to your comrades.

-So you can kill us all later? Eat me.

-Ok, Mr.Brody. So, you walked all the way here quiet. And when you are needed, the first thing you do is insult me? I seriously do not know how you got to be so confident, because as far as I know, NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE YOU!

Suddenly, a loud and distinct roar can be heard, freezing everyone's blood, followed by what appeared to be an inhalation. The MUTO looked to their right.

-Think again.-says Ford with a grin.

Godzilla had arrived.
