IGN Rodan theory

That last post was a joke, see the parenthesis...this thread is just a theory from IGN that i found, we are all entitled to opinions, i appreciate yours and i think there is a large possibility Rodan isnt in it... But based on my research i think he is. Thank you for presenting a very thoughtful rebuttle though!

yeah and I think your opinion is wrong, when Legendary officially announced no toho monsters, you keep makin a fool of yourself every comment! Please go on, Anthony was chosen by god as our messenger to show us the answer! Clearly he's a higher power then legendary, Im getting teary eyed!

Just a reminder to everyone heckling people who think Rodan is in the film - stop. Everyone is entitled to a theory and an idea here. None of us have seen the film, so nobody can 100% say yes or no to any of these assumptions. Just because it's severely unlikely does not mean it's a stupid discussion. I really appreciate the fact that you are willing to listen to me, even if you still believe Rodan is in the movie. You're right about opinions, just as I pointed out.

Also, would you mind giving me the link? I personally don't believe that Rodan is in the movie, but I'm open-minded and am willing to hear your reasoning.

This is the trailer discussion at about 8:40 they discuss Rodan... Which with this one video means nothing because it's just speculation..

This is after they saw 20 minutes of the movie and the "big surprise scene" they talk about how they are not aloud to mention what it is but they say in their rewind theature (first link) they guessed it right. Now there is not many speculations made in the video, except the Rodan Speculation. i just found that interesting.

Well lets just put it like this , if when the film comes out it happens that , well ... there is no Rodan ,  you are gonna be frustrated and probably the movie its going to suck for you and all the people who are trying to convince themselves that Rodan is in it , because you all had all this theorys an hints in your head and hands , and at the end they meant noting ... BUT... if it does happens that Rodan is in the film or was in the film this whole time , and Gareth along with Legendary did a great work hidding the Kaiju, well lets just all be happy that we are gonna get to see  , an updated Rodan , BRAND NEW MONSTERS [Mutos] , AND GODZILLA , and all the theorys of Rodan are gonna be right , lets just leave it like this ok? ... move on.  

I'm sorry I was overly sarcastic to you junkerde .. But watch the videos if you don't think it's right, that's ok just move on. I love a good debate though.

I don't care, to be honest. I agreed with you at first because I thought you were using logical reasoning. Now all you're doing is beating this into the ground and causing conflict with Anthony for no reason. He's even trying to make it right. Unlike you, who's not doing anything but fueling the fire.

If Rodan DID happen to be in the movie, that would be awesome and I would be thrilled. But if he's not, please don't get too angry with the film. I really want this movie to do well and I don't want to see fans disappointed with it like with the 1998 one.

Actually to tell you the truth, I don't care if he's in it at all, I think it would be cool, but I could care less if he wasn't, I'm just showing everyone what I found. i was seeing on other posts people that were suggesting  Rodan was in the movie were getting crushed by people, so I wanted to help play devils advocate with something alittle more than speculation.

To clarify, I was actually talking about when you said he was making a fool of himself, etc etc. I just brought up his apology to prove that he was trying to do the right thing. But if you look just above the bridge during the scene where planes are falling and you see parachutes coming down, right above the bridge you see a definite, "Rodan' type creature bank a quick left then right, kind of in the clouds. very distinctive wing pattern.

I believe there definitely has to be a third Muto, why would they keep it secret if it's a new creation? Maybe it's secret because of It being a surprise, I saw that same bridge scene too! Thanks for bringing it up!

if there were going to be any other monsters in this movie there would be toys of them listed. i cant believe this is still a discussion.

We will see I guess , I mean toy sales will truly kick off after the movie opens and kids see it, that is when they can release more if they are trying to protect a movie secret...

While I'm still not so certain, this is another reason why I'm glad I'm probably going to get to see the movie in theaters. Otherwise, let's say Rodan WAS in the movie, they might make some toys of him and release them before I could get it on DVD, in which case that would ruin the movie quite a bit.

About what it could be, no, not a clue. I mean, I literally, I've tried thinking of everything I could come up with and don't have the slightest hint of what it could be. However, Madison said that the surprise could just be regular MUTO scenes, and it could just be really awesome and such a huge surprise for the viewers who aren't G-fans like us. We've been following the movie leaks and everything, so we know a lot more than they do. Still, I hope I'm wrong.

Also, I'm not sure what to make of Rodan. I mean, I'm certain from what I've heard that he can't be in it, but there are a lot of things that don't make sense and seem kinda fishy...

I could be wrong here but in the airport scene wasn't it described as a muto destroying an airport and godzilla easily kills it ? if that's true , how could there only be two if they are so easy to defeat?
