I also heard from some co-workers and read on some sites that a "possible" Gamera-3D was in the works and started thinking, "wouldnt it be great if Legendary bought the rights to Gamera and his enemies?"
Just think of it. If Legendary had Gamera's rights through crafty negotiations we may finally get the movie we so deserve to see. Godzilla X Gamera. Before you shoot this down just think, "Why havent we had a GXG?
Because regardless of which company did the movie they would have their monster win which would be bias. Where as say if Legendary bought the rights, made a Gamera movie, made a sequel, just like they ared doing with Godzilla, what better sequel to do would be a crossover! The people at legendary would be unbiased as to who would win and have a knock-out drag out fight between Godzilla and Gamera. Think of how epic that would be! Think of how much revenue and ratings that movie, if done correctly(!) would rake in around the entire world among us kaiju fans.
Afterall it would seem right to do so, because it feels to me that Legendary is becoming the next major producer in kaiju movies. That is in my own opinion.
