The violence of G-2014

A recent post about the rating of the film made me wonder how the violence will be portrayed in the film, because lets face it there's gonna ge dead bodies everywhere (the squished train with corpses all over the show from comic con footage is a good example). I'm not expecting much blood and gore from the human spectrum (just mostly people getting squished) but what about Godzilla and the kaiju? del Toro subsided it by making their blood bioluminescent blue, therefore making it plausible to show a kaiju being blown in half and be suitable for kids. But what about Godzilla? His is red, so is it going to be shown or just not really come into play? And are we likely to see other kaiju getting dismembered, or jaws ripped off etc,?

Ive got to admit, seeing the big guy rip another kaiju's jaw off would be pretty cool. (kinda like in Jackson's Kong when he bites out the tongue and caves in the head an jaw of that rex) graphic, but damn awesome!

i guess I want something visceral to compliment the gritty, almost terrifying tone we have been currently provided.

That's what I was thinking! It'd be so much more bad ass if there was a bit of gore in the mix. Not only graphic kaiju violence, but what if the smaller kaiju were just making it a living hell for the people as well. You've got the larger kaiju fighting, ripping each others limbs off and stuff. Too much gore can sort of ruin the movie, but if there's just enough would be just amazing.

Since fantasy monsters aren't viewed the same as real things I don't think it'd be impossible to see the kaiju do quite a lot of damage to eachother with the film still maintaining a PG13 rating. I mean look at Godzilla vs Gigan. anguirus and godzilla had blood sturt out at at least 1 point of the movie and a PG rating was still kept
